Alpine Bank ShowDown Town is a summertime tradition in Eagle Town Park that has a special place in the heart of valley locals. After a one-year hiatus in 2020, the free concert series resumed in 2021, and once again gave our community a place to gather, catch up with one another, and enjoy great music.

If you’re looking to catch up with old friends and family, there is a place and time already on the calendar when it comes to summertime in Eagle Colorado.
Thursday nights, six o’clock, July – August. From up and down the valley, people come together to see some good music, catch up on one another’s lives, and enjoy summertime in the mountains.
The Alpine Bank ShowDown Town free concert series is a longtime favorite among locals. The Vail Valley Foundation event was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic, but this year’s event schedule was very well attended.
The opening night’s attendance was the first sign of just how much the series had been missed. Hundreds came to Eagle Town Park to enjoy The Runaway Grooms – an up-and-coming band with local roots and a strong following.
From there the series rolled on like a mountain breeze. And, despite one cancelation due to weather, the six ShowDown Town concerts saw nearly 4,000 people participate, helping bring $60,000 in estimated revenue to the Town of Eagle.
